Making Sense of Journal Information
|While many journals are online, sometimes the print version is a better option. Print journals provide the context of other articles, include advertisements and photographs or charts for analysis, or the format may simply be easier to read.
Journals at UW are in several locations. Use the catalog to find the location and call number. New journals are in the Coe current periodicals area on Level 1 and cannot be checked out, but photocopiers and scanners are available for copying articles.
Older journals back to 2006 are bound into volumes and kept at Coe Library, also on Level 1. Journals published before 2006 are in the Library Annex. Some older journal volumes are available only on microfilm.
Clicking on "View Items" will show if the volume you need is available.
